Health and nutrition have always been a major interest for me. My career path has prepared me for the role of Health Coach. A major in
Chemistry with an emphasis on Organic and Biochemistry from the University of Illinois and Northwestern University’s Graduate Business
School laid the foundation for my career decisions.
After graduation, I worked for chemical and pharmaceutical businesses where I focused on fatty derivatives for food and cosmetics. For 5 years I was Director of Marketing and Business Development for a leading pharmaceutical company. My accomplishments in the corporate world gave me the experience and knowledge to branch out in business as an entrepreneur. I decided to follow my heart and concentrate on alternative approaches in health, food preparation, nutritional supplements and green areas of energy.
My first success occurred in Key West, Florida, where I converted a Day Care facility meal plan from canned and generic boxed foods into locally grown fresh vegetables, whole grain breads and fresh fruits. This approach attracted the attention of Outward Bound’s Sailing and survival School, who had their winter base in Key West. I became their chandler for several years and was given a summer position at Hurricane Island, Maine.
I learned to use commercial equipment to prepare healthy meals for large groups. My wife and I also had our own wholesale food business for 5 years. These early experiences influenced me to delve deeper into other areas that affect our nutrition. From 2001 to 2010, I ran my own water treatment business to improve HVAC and large boiler systems in South Florida and the Bahamas. These methods saved substantial water and lowered electrical costs.
I have been teaching classes on alternative health practices since 1992, and in my spare time I have studied astrology in depth for its usefulness as a source for predicting potential health issues in individuals. I have successfully coached people in reducing symptoms of and preventing the onset of diabetes. I was able to detect the presence of prostate cancer in my own life and eliminated it through timely and educated medical choices. I lecture regularly throughout the country, and have also been published with my research and findings related to diabetes and many other topics.
I am currently President of NCGR, South Florida, one of many chapters of an international astrological organization. I live with my wife Lucy in Western Colorado where I spend my spare time researching and writing articles about health and wellbeing derived from birth charts. Together we grow, can and dehydrate our own fruits and vegetables. We are almost off the grid with our 10 KW solar panels that were installed this past
summer. We have kept current with neutraceutical developments and feel great results from these efforts.
